Have you seen the latest Tiberi TV ad? Post up what you think of his proclaiming to embrace fiscal conservatism? Seems like a crock to me given the area he represents. Delaware County seems to be thriving while Licking County struggles. I believe Tiberi lives in Delaware County, I gues that is why they seem to get his attention and Licking County gets the scraps.
State Senator Tim Schaffer has said he is intending to introduce a bill that will require anyone on government assistance to be drug tested before they can receive benefits. I personally think this is foolishness, simply because it would be an enormous cost that would have to be picked up by taxpayers. For someone who has supported “smaller” government it sure seems like he is being a bit hypocritical with a costly venture as this.
